Terms of service

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering — by placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Who you are buying from

Petal & Pack is a trading name of Cameron Wilson, who trades as a sole trader.

Address for correspondence and returns: Petal & Pack, Suite 3, 16a St. Albans Chambers, St. Albans Street, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 8PY, United Kingdom.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 to place an order, as you are entering a contract. Our products are collectible trading cards; the manufacturer's own age guidance is printed on each pack and some contain small parts that are not suitable for children under three.

Our products

Everything we sell is genuine, officially licensed KAYOU merchandise in English-language editions. Most of our range is imported by us from official distributors in South East Asia; some items are bought from UK trade suppliers and retailers.

  • Sealed products are supplied exactly as they left the manufacturer. The cards inside are randomly assorted — we cannot influence, predict or guarantee what any given pack or box contains, and we do not accept returns on the basis of what was pulled.
  • Single cards are one-of-one listings: the specific, serial-numbered card described and photographed. Once sold, that card is gone.
  • Condition grading is our own honest assessment, not third-party certification. Where we grade a card Near Mint we mean sharp corners, a clean surface and no visible whitening or print defects.
  • Photographs are taken in hand wherever possible. Holographic and foil cards are notoriously difficult to photograph and can look different under different light; screens also vary in colour. Minor variation between photograph and card is not a defect.

Orders and when the contract is made

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm dispatch. If we cannot fulfil your order — most often because a one-of-one card sold moments earlier — we will tell you promptly and refund you in full.

Prices and errors

Prices are in pounds sterling and shown on each product page. The price you pay is the price shown in the checkout at the moment you order. We take care with pricing, but if an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price we are not obliged to supply it at that price: we will contact you, and you may either confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment

Checkout and payment are handled securely by Shopify. Card, PayPal and other methods offered at checkout are processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your card details.

Delivery, cancellation and returns

Delivery options, prices and timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy. Your right to cancel, how to return an item and how refunds work are set out in our Refund Policy. Both form part of these terms.

Faulty or misdescribed goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you have legal remedies including repair, replacement or refund. Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will put it right.

Trademarks

My Little Pony is a trademark of Hasbro. KAYOU is a trademark of its respective owner. Petal & Pack is an independent retailer of genuine licensed product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official distributor for Hasbro or KAYOU, and does not represent itself as such. All product names, logos and card artwork are the property of their respective owners and are used to describe the goods offered for sale.

Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, nor for business losses — we supply to consumers for private use.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Website content

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Product photographs, descriptions and stock levels are provided in good faith and may occasionally be out of date.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, email hello@petalpack.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it quickly and fairly. We do not currently subscribe to an alternative dispute resolution scheme; if we cannot resolve a dispute between us, you retain your right to take the matter to court.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this site when you place your order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
